There are several problems with not posting in a timely manner; the first and most cumbersome is that you (I) can't remember exactly what happened for particular events.
Easter celebrations actually took place over two weekends. The weekend before the actual Easter holiday, the kids had a party at school, and then the American Society held their annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Trying to get a picture of these two - where they give you a nice smile - is hard to come by.
Cayden with two of his best friends at school!
This is the second year we have participated in the Egg Hunt. It was definitely a different experience this go round. Last year - we had to help Cayden, and Beckham could have cared less. This year, they both were ready to get some eggs!
When Easter actually rolled around, we got to spend time with one of the families in our building. The kids decorated eggs, we ate yummy food, we played some sort of egg rolling game, and the kids had an actual egg hunt (The previous weekend the eggs were just tossed on the ground. Where's the fun in that??)
Spending time with our friends was the closest we could get to a typical American Easter. We had a great time, and of course the kids were eating candy for like two weeks.
