Every two years the city of Sao Paulo invites professional graffiti artists to come and create works of art to put on display. Driving around the city each day, you come across some really beautiful pieces. This is really a post of pictures, but there was a school group there. While looking at some of the art, the kids could practice their own graffiti.

Cayden
This kid. He kills me. Who would have thought that almost 4 would be such a funny, silly, moody stage. I've decided to list some things about Cayden that I want to remember, and some I probably don't.
1. He still sleeps in our bed. At some point in the night he comes in there.
2. He dresses himself, and usually does a good job.
3. Potty trained (for awhile now, but when you think about it in combination with #2, he is getting really self sufficient.)
4. Makes up words. All. The. Time.
5. Makes up games. Usually having to do with hiding things, or chasing, and ALWAYS being the winner.
6. Calls Skittles - Rattle Dells. I have no clue why.
7. Prefers shorts and short sleeves (calls them Up Sleeves).
8. Fights tooth and nail to not wear pants or Down Sleeves.
9. Can throw a pretty good little fit.
10. Is convinced that he can live with NeNe when he's 20.
11. We lost a toy truck in the pond at a park about a month ago, and he talks about it every. single. day. "Where did the truck go?" "Why is it in the lake?" "Who put it there?"
12. Is kind of obsessed with cartoons. Right now he loves Miles from Tomorrowland.
13. Eats like a bird.
14. Likes to ask people their number (age).
15. If he ask how old you have to be to drive, for instance, and you say 16. He will keep going from there. What about 17? What about 18? What about 30? He's a numbers kid.
16. Likes to talk about traveling. Going to Arkansas. Not going back to Argentina, because we have already been there.
17. His teacher is pregnant, and I was making her a gift, and he wanted to know where HIS baby was. I said, "You've got one, he's called Beckham." And he said he needed TWO babies, and I told him that was never going to happen.
18. Only wants to wear Superman pajamas and Avengers pajamas. He needs them washed everyday.
19. Eats Reeses Peanut Butter cups before bed. Totally Heath's fault.
20. Likes to "Nuggle" in the morning.
21. Has been going to Speech Therapy for about two months, and it's really starting to help. He speech is definitely more clear.
22. Loves Swimming
23. Painting, Coloring, Drawing
24. The Park.
He's a pretty cool little 3 year old.

Juquehy - The Beach
We live about 2.5 hours away from the beach. We went for the first time a few weekends ago. I'm not sure what was stopping us before? I think having small kids you just wonder what they would do at the beach. Eat sand? Crawl everywhere? At the time we moved here, Beckham was so small, I'm not sure what it would have been like Nonetheless, we made it to the beach and we LOVED IT. Well, except for that first night where Beckham wouldn't sleep, and then Cayden got up, and we all got maybe four hours of sleep. Next time, we are definitely getting two rooms. If Beckham knows you are in the room, he's awake and refuses to sleep in the pack n play.
The kids really liked it, and Cayden requested to go at least TEN more times. He's very into the number of times we do things.
We spent more time in the pool than in the sand and ocean. The ocean here isn't conducive to swimming. Most of the people you see in the water are on surf boards or knee boards.
The food was really good, which made just hanging out at the hotel that much easier. Cayden saw a yellow crab while we were there, and we picked up some more shells to add to our collection. We are heading to a different beach in the next few weeks that I've heard is more for swimming!
Here are a few videos of Beckham and Cayden "Surfing"

Easter
Easter this year lasted two weekends. On actual Easter Sunday, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt that is held each year by the American Society. It was fun, and the kids really enjoyed hunting the eggs. Although for Cayden, it was a somewhat ruthless crowd. Beckham got to enjoy the "baby" egg hunt.
And really, they just wanted to jump in the bounce house.
There were some ducks and bunnies for the kids to pet. Cayden was fine just watching. Beckham really wanted to get his hands on one. I picked up a little black one for him to pet, and then set it back down. I turn around and he has picked one up by the fur on the back. Poor little guy.
When they said "Go!" all the kids ran like banshees. Cayden was lucky that Heath was with him, so he got like five eggs. Beckham just wanted to run!
Cayden and his friend Hunter. They live in the same complex and go to the same school!
The weekend before was the school Easter party. Getting these kids to pose, well. I'm sure you can imagine.
There were lots of activities for the kids to do at the school. Making bunny masks, dying eggs, making noodle necklaces, etc.
Beckham has really enjoyed school. He loves his teachers, which is why he let her paint his face. Cayden wouldn't have anything to do with it, until he saw Beckham.
They are hard to see, but the kids school photos always crack me up. I can't wait to get their individual shots back.
And in a picture that sums up the kids - Cayden's eggs died blue and red/orange. And Beckham's - one unfortunate casualty, and the other I did.
My mom brought plastic eggs with her on her visit, so we had a few practice rounds to hunt. Easter in Brasil is full of large chocolate eggs, not really plastic ones filled with goodies!
